My Little Dust Buster

Hudson is now at the stage where he finds anything on the floor and he puts it in his mouth, I have to keep the floor vacuumed because he can find the tinyest little things. What a stinker!!

I have been without a computer for a few days, the monitor of my laptop kicked the bucket. Luckily it was only the monitor because I don't have my pictures saved. Believe that is going to change. I have nightmares about loosing my pictures. So anyway we got a used monitor from Nate's work and hooked it into the back of the laptop and we are up and running again. It felt like forever. That tells you how addicted I am to blogging.

Sunday was my dad's birthday so we all went out to my parents for dinner. I love my dad he acts tough on the outside but deep down he is a softy. Here is a picture of me, my dad, and Hudson. He calls Hudson "W" pronounced dubbaya probably because Hudson and my dad share the same middle name, Wesley. One cute thing that Braiden and my dad do, my dad grabs me by the shoulders and hugs me and and says, "My Girl" then Braiden hugs my legs and says "My girl" and they go on "fighting" like this, I makes me feel very loved. So Happy Birthday Dad! I love you!! I'll always be "your girl"

And here is a picture of the new hair, I love it. But I am so embarrassed to post a picture of myself.

Peaches, Peaches, Peaches!!

We have these peach trees as you come into the neighborhood whose branches were heavy with fruit so I helped them out a little, because I could see that no one else was going to. I made 2 batches of peach jam, yummy!! I also just sliced some up an put them in the freezer for smoothies, cobbler etc. And if there is any space left in my freezer I will do more.

It was Brody's turn to take treats to preschool. The letter of the week was A so we made cupcakes that looked like apples, they turned out really cute, the gummy worms were the favorite part.

Hudson had Roseola last week and that was not fun. Roseola is where they have 4-5 days of high fever then when the fever breaks they get a rash that covers their whole body. I thought he was teething, or had an ear infection or something but on Monday morning when I noticed the rash I knew why he had been sick. He is better now and much happier.

I took him outside for a little "photo shoot" as you can see I am no professional. I had fun though, I just can't get over his beautiful brown eyes!!

We signed Braiden up for flag football he is very excited and Brody is bummed that he can't play. I will have to play with him on the sidelines. With 3 boys I think I have been delivered a life sentence of football ugh!!

Nate's awesome aunt treated me to a whole new hair do, she is so sweet I love her!! I love my new hair, I will have to post a picture soon!!

A little numbing cream.

A little Disney Channel while getting numb.

More numbing action.

TA-DA!!

Now the Tooth Fairy gets to pay him a visit!!

Brody's First Day of Preschool

Brody has been so excited to start preschool. He wore his backpack around all morning waiting for me to put him in the car and go. He has a fun teacher who LOVES teaching preschool. She has a little room in her house just for the preschool with it's own entrance, it makes it seem more official that way. :) He did great when I dropped him off, I knew he would. It helped that she had a bucket full of rescue heroes right in front of him. Nate couldn't believe that I took the camera into the school. I told him, at least I didn't have my video camera like one other mom. He thinks we are weird.

So I bet you are all wondering what I did with my first 2 hours of free time. I got my teeth cleaned. :) fun huh!!

Hudson is 8 Months Old

It seems like I just posted that Hudson was 7 months old, where did August go?? Hudson recently started to play patty cake, it is so cute to watch him clap his little hands he gets a kick out of it. He also started getting up on his hands and knees rocking back and forth. It won't be long before he is crawling to keep up with his brothers, or following me around. I think he is a little mama's boy. Hudson likes to say mamama and dadada it is so cute except when I just get done feeding him and he says dadada all full and happy, some thanks I get. J/K I think Hudson is finally liking baby food, only the good stuff though, banana orange medley and banana peach granola are his favorites. We waisted so much baby food at first because every time we tried to feed it to him he would gag his head off, but he is loving it now. Braiden, my little helper, likes to feed him while I am cooking dinner. Usually after that it is into the tub with both of them. :)

Look at my brown eyed baby!!!

Going for a spin???

First Day of School

I found this in a magazine:

There will be bigger hallways and bigger kids.

There will be new sounds, new friends and new teachers

Whose names will sound scary at first.

He'll line up, look back and file inside and at that moment

You'll realize this is your first day of school too.

(sniff, sniff)

Braiden's First Day of First Grade!!

Braiden started school on Monday. His teachers name is Mrs. Betts when I asked him if he liked his teacher he said "Yeah, she's kinda cute" Oh boy here we go!! He had a good first day. He was a little worried that he wouldn't know where to go but he did just fine and he said that he didn't even need to ask for help. Braiden loves school he is excited to go each morning, he even thought it was pretty cool that he had homework last night, We'll see how long that lasts. :)

I think Brody really enjoys Braiden being in school he can do what ever he wants and there is no one there to pester him, and he gets me to himself (sort of.) I am enjoying the peace and quiet, of no fighting and wrestling. I do miss my little helper though and we are all excited to see him get off the bus in the afternoon.

Brody will start preschool next wednesday it will be just two days a week but I think he will enjoy doing something "big" like going to school.

Kristy's tag.....finally

Kristy tagged me months ago with this, so here it goes.

What were you doing 10 years ago? Getting ready to start my senior year of high school. (holy cow! it's been that long already?)

5 things on my to do list. 1. Laundry 2. Practice the piano 3. find some new school shoes for Braiden 4. Go grocery shopping 5. Do something fun with the kids (I told them we would do something fun today.

What snacks do I enjoy? Double Stuffed Oreos, I really like the minty oreos these days, either ones will do though.

What would I do if I were suddenly a billionaire? Pay off student loans, after that I might have enough left over to buy myself a new dress or something. :) that's what it feels like anyway.

Name 3 bad habits. Jeez! only 3 hmmmm... 1. Staying up too late. 2. checking my blog too much. 3. letting the laundry pile up.

Name 5 places I have lived. 1. Omaha, NE (3 years) 2. Reston, VA (4 months) 3. Eden Prairie, MN (4 months) 4. Pocatello, ID (9 months) 5.Rexburg, ID (4 years) grew up in Rupert, Id (oops I guess that's 6)

5 jobs I have had. 1. Growing up I moved wheel lines for my dad I hated it at the time, but I look back now and it was the best job I ever had. It taught me how to work, and I got to spend alot of time with my dad. 2. I delivered flowers for Nancy's Rupert Floral the summer before I got married, It was suppose to be an internship for my degree, hmmm some internship!!! 3. Sherry's Floral in Rexburg, hey at least at that one I got to arrange the flowers and not just deliver them. 4. I worked at Zaney Brainey (a kids toy store) when we lived in VA. (I needed something to do) 5. Full-time mom.

5 things most people don't know about me. UGH! I hate this question, I can never think of anything. 1. I broke my tail bone once. 2. I loved to dance 3. I am a clean freak. 4. I graduated from Ricks College with a degree in floral design. 5. I wish I would have done something more serious in school, floral design was fun but let be realistic here.

Now I am going to tag.....JOLISA, and anyone else who feels like filling this out.
