Peaches, Peaches, Peaches!!

We have these peach trees as you come into the neighborhood whose branches were heavy with fruit so I helped them out a little, because I could see that no one else was going to. I made 2 batches of peach jam, yummy!! I also just sliced some up an put them in the freezer for smoothies, cobbler etc. And if there is any space left in my freezer I will do more.

It was Brody's turn to take treats to preschool. The letter of the week was A so we made cupcakes that looked like apples, they turned out really cute, the gummy worms were the favorite part.

Hudson had Roseola last week and that was not fun. Roseola is where they have 4-5 days of high fever then when the fever breaks they get a rash that covers their whole body. I thought he was teething, or had an ear infection or something but on Monday morning when I noticed the rash I knew why he had been sick. He is better now and much happier.

I took him outside for a little "photo shoot" as you can see I am no professional. I had fun though, I just can't get over his beautiful brown eyes!!

We signed Braiden up for flag football he is very excited and Brody is bummed that he can't play. I will have to play with him on the sidelines. With 3 boys I think I have been delivered a life sentence of football ugh!!

Nate's awesome aunt treated me to a whole new hair do, she is so sweet I love her!! I love my new hair, I will have to post a picture soon!!

How good are you making jam....I've never made jam. How sad is that! And those cupcakes are so cute!! Great job! So far no football for me. :) But I know Ben is crossing his fingers that we have a boy this time. Can't wait to see a picture of your new hair cut.

mmmmm im jealous to your close access to all those peaches! i LOVE fruit. thats awesome you were able to stock up before they go out of season. peaches in winter--lucky!

the apples look great! how on earth did you get the frosting to look so smooth? is it a fondant recipe?

New hair is great! I am loving mine. Football is one of the only things that Brian and I argue about (GO COUGARS!), so perhaps Cole will just have to skip that sport. If he looks anything like his dad, they probably won't let him on the team!

You've left me in suspense! I want to see your haircut. It seems everyone is chopping their hair lately-I love seeing new styles. One of these days I may get brave. Anyways I love hearing about Idaho! I am very excited to move out there! Maybe I will even learn how to can.

Good job with the peaches! I need to do some. Your cupcakes look awesome. I doubt I could do that and have it turn out to look like what I intended!
