So I'm to the point now when I am starting to grow out of my maternity clothes, so that makes people ask, "Whoa, when are you due?" Always fun. Last night we had a Christmas party to go to and I was struggling to find something to wear that wouldn't look like I was going to bust out of the seams. I finally settled on the white shirt and same ole' pants. I finished getting ready and rushed into the kitchen where Hudson was yelling from his highchair "DONE...DONE...DONE" So I scoop him out of the chair only to get his dinner "mess" on the front of the white, only decent thing that fits shirt. UH, I give up.
Friday night we took the kids to A Christmas Carol. I thought it was a little too scary for little kids. Brody kept asking if we could go home and was plugging his ears and closing his eyes half the time. Even Hudson had his face buried in Nate shoulder and was whimpering. And believe it or not, my kids are not ones to get scared in movies. I told Nate that I liked the Mickey Mouse version better. ;)
Nate and I went to Boise this past weekend and left the kids with Kurt and Terril. We had to get Christmas and Birthday shopping done. We made a huge dent in the list (only a few little things left) and we got some great deals. Gymboree was having 25% off the entire store and I had a coupon for 15% off my entire purchase...Needless to say I went hog wild for the baby, Nate just stood there and rolled his eyes. After a huge day of shopping I was exhausted so we went to dinner and Nate took me to New Moon (what a guy!!) It was so fun to get away without the kids, love em', but it's nice to have time together too.

Fabric Flower Fever
I have been feeling very crafty lately, I think it is my form of nesting this time around. Here's what I've been up to:
I came across this little cutie on ETSY:

I bought it having every intention of taking it apart and trying to figure out how it was made. But when I got it, it was too perfect and too cute to take apart...Soooo. On to plan B. I got on Tip Junkie and searched "fabric flowers" and found a tutorial for THIS little cutie:

It is not the same, but just as cute I think.
Soooooo:

I made a few to match some of baby girls' outfits. Fun!
I had to change this:

To this:

Love It!!!
We did this muffin tin advent calendar and "believe" sign at our ward Super Saturday:

And I saw some cute little clothes pin magnets online somewhere soooo:

I spray-painted mine black before I mod-podged the paper on. Around here with all of the art work coming in I can never have too many magnets. Love em!
Stay tuned cute burp rags coming up.
We had a great Thanksgiving- we got two dinners lucky us. I was fun to see family and hang out. My two SILs and I were going to go to New Moon on Wed night but it was sold out, I was so BUMMED! So if any one still wants to go... ;) Hope you all had a very Happy and Yummy Thanksgiving.

Much Better!
There has been a lot of work going on in the house this past week. I'm glad that it is winding down because I can't stand the construction mess. But I put up with it because the end result is well worth it. Take a look...
Much better:

I don't think I took a before picture of our bathroom but the shower was 2x4s and the tub surround was 2x4s so now we can use our shower. We still need to put the shower heads on and reset the toilet, good thing the F.I.L. is a plumber, that comes in handy. ;) {{hugs}}
Much MUCH Better:

So happy with the way the door turned out.
Much MUCH MUCH Better:

Remember the railing before? (it was a piece of ply wood) UGH! I have to stand and stare at it now ahhhh! I actually helped with this one. Proud? Well I didn't do much... but I did help. :)

Leelou Swag
Leelou is having a favorite things giveaway, You've got to check these things out, she has great taste. Her number 1 favorite thing is a Joovy Caboose stroller. I must agree with her I would love one in black. My double stroller I currently have (which was a hand-me-down anyway, and was probably one of the first double strollers ever made. ;) has definitely seen it's better day and it is a MONSTER! Go check the giveaway out here I guarantee you will fall in love.

Clone Wars
Here are my little Clone Troopers (from Star Wars in case you are wondering... That's OK because I didn't know either.) With boys this age it's all about which costume has the coolest weapon.
Now that they are getting older and mom doesn't get to pick their costumes anymore, it's fun to see their little personalities come out. I tried to convince Brody to be Robin Hood or Spiderman or any one of the pricey costumes that I have stored away but it was a no go, not when big brother is going to be a Star Wars guy. Hey as long as everyone is happy, right?
I still get to pick Hudson's costume so he was my little pumpkin. It was no problem getting him to put his costume on when he saw his brothers in their costumes.
Hope you all had a Happy Halloween!!
