Puppies & The First Day of School!!

Ivy had her puppies early Saturday morning.  She had a small litter of only 4 (fine with me) but the runt didn't make it (so sad) so we have three little black puppies that are fat and happy.

Notice the swimming pool? My brother wonders why we are trying to drown them. (hehe)  She had her puppies in there so clean up was a breeze (sorry probably TMI) and now it keeps those little fatties nice and contained, I even layed a nice scrap of carpet inside so it would be soft and cozy.

Puppy anyone????

Today was the first day of school, the boys claimed that they didn't want to go back, but I could tell this morning that they were excited.

Braiden started 4th grade and Brody started 1st grade.

Off they go!

This is when I started bawling, I'm telling you this never gets any easier, it's sad to see them go. I wonder if I will still cry when they are in High School?

Cute puppies and even cuter boys all ready for school this year! I remember crying when my kids started back to school and then when Conrad #6 - left for kindergarten I had such mixed emotions - tears of both sadness - he was "all grown up" and relief - NOW I had some time to do what I wanted to do each day without dragging kids along. Motherhood is such a mixed bag!!

You'd think starting school in August they would be wearing shorts and a tshirt!! I can't believe they have a jacket and long pants on! You must live in ID ;). Those puppies are adorable! But I just can't bring myself to get a dog. Enjoy your days now that you only have 2 at home all day. Crazy how fast time flies.

Cute little puppies! I can't believe you have 4th grader. I think I'll be bawling my eyes out when Gigi starts school.

You will be crying but it will be different tears... tears of joy because you only have 2 or 3 years left of them being home! :) Ha! You didn't tell me you had the pups. They are cute!
